Expressing Creativity with multimedia technology. How can teachers create PowerPoint presentations for all the teaching educators for their potential and learning impact? "Media is the language of kids,"  Students who may have a difficult problem   learning by reading a textbook or listening to a lecture often reach for the chance to understand complex concepts by presenting finished products in the form of a film, Web documentary or a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation.
I believe that In order to reach maximum teaching potential and learning impact, a teacher must think about the creation and presentation of the PowerPoint that they are putting together for their children to understand.
Doing a PowerPoint it gives teachers a chance to create interesting presentations, but on the other hand keeping the students attention and successfully explaining information is very important.
A teacher can do any class discussion by using images. Direct and detailed images are going to appeal to the students more so than trying to make them do and essay with a paragraph of words.
A teacher can also get visual analysis for the discussion topics. The images should create discussion and thoughts in the classroom to see if they understand the material. Then at the end you could
Display the questions to short writing prompts in the presentation. Allow the students to write a short essays to summarize the presentation and tell what he or she learn or even thought was good or bad about the lesson presented

The PowerPoint slides should be used to capture the attention of the students. The teacher is the one teaching the class. Teachers should make the slides interesting and appealing to the students in your classroom. Keep them simple and to the point.  Also, keep them engaged by asking questions and telling short stories that might go along with the lesson your teaching. And for fun you can create power points with games that way it helps them develop problem solving and learning skills.
Multimedia is a big part of the curriculum in schools today. In most classrooms, teachers use multimedia during their lessons every day. I do believe that multimedia is beneficial in our classrooms; but there are times where they can be a distraction as well.

They have to be used in the correct way in order to be successful in helping students learn new concepts. Statistics show that people learn more when being taught through more than one source of information. In this chapter, it is called multi-modal learning. When a teacher combines his/her lecture with the use of visuals and models, the students have a better chance of retaining the information.

PowerPoint is well-known software program that is used by many teachers and students throughout the world. PowerPoint is a simple way to present information, but teachers can spice it up by adding different affects and graphics. In order to make PowerPoint presentations and effective tool in education, the teacher must make it interactive and engaging. The teacher must get their point across without overwhelming the students with too much information.
I am an advocate for the use of video in the classroom. I believe it helps the students learn information in a different way. The students get bored with standard instruction, so using videos can be more interesting and enjoyable for them. The videos should stay at a shorter length so the students are staying focused.

As a technology, it is called multimedia. As a revolution, it is the sum of many revolutions wrapped into one: A revolution in communication that combines the audio visual power of television, the publishing power of the printing press, and the interactive power of the computer. Multimedia is the convergence of these different professions, once thought independent of one another, coming together to form a new technological approach to the way information and ideas are shared.

With our technology constantly changing who knows what will happen next. Cell phones will eventually be useful as well as many other present day communication devices. Pagers are a thing of the past and are no longer an essential part of our society. Hopefully, new and better things will come out that provide us with even more benefits that we have now.  This is and lot as teachers we have to face when it comes down to expressing technology in our world today. That’s what is revolving around now, without you can or even may be lost without it.

  2. You provided much information and content on the concepts - both text and video/Prezi. You also added your own thoughts and reflections, which is the focus of the assignment. Don't forget to provide in-text citations when you write others' words or ideas. I like that you explored some other resources to support your writing.
